Implemented Roll Back Malaria Campaign in five Local LGAs of Imo State, Nigeria (Ideato South and Ideato North, Oru East, Oru West and Oguta LGA). The programme was sponsored by the Society for Family Health (SFH) Imo State 2008. 20,000 mosquito nets were distributed to 10,000 households.
Participated as an observer in Nigeria 2007 General Elections in Isiala Mbano LGA, sponsored by Transition Monitoring Group (TMG).
Implemented HIV/AIDS prevention education programme in five private, voluntary secondary schools in Imo State in collaboration with Friendly Environment and Human Development (FEHD) Foundation, No 103 Wetheral Road Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria (January 2005 ¬December 2005). It was sponsored by Imo State Action committee on HIV/AIDS (SACA) BEGOLlN was a resource person to the programme. There was an increased awareness of the cause, prevention and control of HIV/AIDS in the project schools.
Implemented a campaign against female genital mutilation (FGM) in Ohoba, Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area (LGA) Imo State, sponsored by BEGOLlN in 2004. There was high awareness of the problems associated with FGM in the community and the reduction of the practice by 80% thereafter.

Executed HIV/AIDS home / community-based care/support programme for widows, and orphans in Egbema, Ohaji/Egbema LGA Imo State, sponsored in partnership between Egbema youths and BECOLlN in 2009. Care and support services were extended to 30 widows and 18 orphans living with HIV/AIDS.

Resource Organization for FADAMA III project for South East zone. FADAMA III is a rural community focused, World Bank/Federal Government of Nigeria sponsored project aimed at developing the rural disadvantaged communities through agricultural products and service inputs, social mobilization and training of farmers at community level to boost agricultural productivity and reduce poverty.
Campaign to reduce child abuse and prevention of violence against children in 5 communities in Onu Imo Local Government Area of Imo State 2009 – 2010. There was high awareness of child rights violations in the LGA.

BECOLIN is implementing water supply and sanitation project in 4 communities – Tsambe, Mbasev, Merkyen and Nyamshi in Gwer West LGA Benue State, Nigeria to reduce water/sanitation - related diseases and deaths among women and under - five children. It is being sponsored by the Embassy of Japan Abuja, Nigeria. The Project will end in March 2013
BECOLIN is a partner with Society for Family Health (SFH) in Global Fund malaria project for Roll Back Malaria programme. BECOLIN has carried out social mobilization for environmental sanitation, distributed 5000 long lasting insecticide treated mosquito nets to 5000 pregnant and nursing mothers in 40 communities in 10 communities in Oguta LGA in Imo State of Nigeria
Monitoring and supervision of 10 ventilated Improved Pit (VIP) latrines in 10 primary schools in Ezinihitte Mbaise and Owerri West LGAs in Imo State with over 8000 populations (4800 females and 3200 males) to prevent bush defecation and sanitation-related diseases in these schools and their catchment communities. Project was sponsored by EUINSIDE of European Union between 2011 and 2013.
Home-Based care/support for people living with/affected by HIV/AIDS in Isiala Mbano LGA Imo State between 2009 and 2013. This project has reduced the burdens of HIV/AIDS among the people living with the disease as well as preventing further spread of the disease. It was sponsored Global Fund and Civil Society on HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (CISHAN). Over 30 women and 12 orphans living with HIV/AIDS have benefited from the programme.
Continued Staff training: BECOLIN continue to update her staff skills through in-house training and external capacity building workshops in Nigeria. BECOLIN has sponsored the CEO, Sanitarian Malachy Uchegbu for training Consultancy Programme at the Centre for Management Development (CMD) Lagos. He is today an accredited training consultant. BECOLIN is a full-fledged and accredited Training Institution.
Participating in World Bank/FGN supervision of FADAMA III projects in Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo, and Rivers, Anambara and Abia States between 2010 and 2013. FADAMA III is a World Bank/FGN sponsored project. BECOLIN was the South East FADAMA III NGO. BECOLIN supervised projects like Piggery, goatry, poultry, market construction, borehole water projects, VIP latrines, cassava processing projects and palm oil processing projects. BECOLIN ensured environmental compliance in these projects satisfactorily.
World Bank Monitoring of FADAMA III projects in Imo State in 2010 - 2013. BECOLIN is leading the team that is conducting the monitoring of over 250 sub projects including health centres, water boreholes, income Generating Activities (LGAs), bridges, and capacity building programme for FADAMA Users Group (FUGs) and FADAMA Co-operative Association (FCAs) in Imo State. FADAMA is a major contributor to the achievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) with particular reference to MDG 1, 3,4,5,6 and 8.
